We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Branch Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our branch, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of performance. This role involves managing various departments, supervising staff, and implementing strategies to enhance overall branch productivity.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise departmental heads, including Receiving, Shipping, and Dispatch.
  • Oversee daily operations, including order picking, receiving/stocking, cycle counting, and truck loading optimization.
  • Prioritize deliveries to meet time requirements and optimize routing.
  • Manage staffing needs, including the hiring and coordination of temporary staff when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
  • Foster interpersonal relations and team building within the branch.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Exercise sound judgment to align daily operations with company quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels for consistent growth and quality.
  • Collaborate with designated buyers for inventory performance reviews.
  • Oversee warehouse operations for top-tier service delivery, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
  • Regularly evaluate processes for improvement opportunities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Motivate the team, driving performance while upholding company values.

Requirements

  • Binlingual Spanish required.
  • Electrical supply or related industry experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in branch/warehouse management.
  • Background in relevant industries such as construction, electrical supply distribution, or similar.
  • Proficiency in warehouse operations, supply chain mechanics, and logistics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process large amounts of data.
  • Proficient in asset management software and tools.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective solutions.
