Property Manager (Commercial)
Our client is a long-standing commercial & industrial property management firm currently looking for a Property Manager to join their busy team. This organization offers the highest standards for providing quality to owners and tenants for over 30 years.
The Property Manager position supports and assists in the management of commercial real estate in accordance with the Management Agreements. The Property Manager is involved in all aspects of day-to-day operations of the property, including accounting, tenant relations, maintenance and repair, security, janitorial services, landscaping, etc. The Property Manager handles tenant complaints and service requests, and must be familiar with the terms of tenant leases.

Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Tenant ease administration and tenant operations
- Conduct regular property inspections and visitations with tenants and coordinate with internal construction team any tenant improvement projects
- Provide prompt, professional response and follow through regarding tenant inquiries, problems, and complaints
- Obtain bids and manage capital improvement projects and work with construction division for contract administration
- Assist with the preparation of rent commencement letters, delivery notices, etc., for new tenants.
- Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Prepare comprehensive management reports for all management clients on a monthly basis, including various analyses
- Collect receivable accounts
- Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance
- Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
Requirements
- 2 years of commercial and industrial assistant property management or property administration experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with property management system
- Must be able to prioritize multiple deadlines in an efficient manner
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organization skill
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
