Isabel “Lina” Savage has more than three decades of experience in the recruitment and search space, with a proven track record of building high-performance teams. She possesses incredible passion and relentless determination to deliver excellence consistently. As a Training Expert in the Recruitment/Search industry, Lina has developed and created foolproof modules that have been used by organizations throughout her career and are currently used by industry Powerhouse Teams.
Savage Search Associates was born out of Lina’s vision after spending over 20 years working for one of the most distinguished search/staffing firms in the Southern California market, Abigail Abbott Staffing. Here, she learned that delivering a unique personal experience is essential when being entrusted with clients’ and candidates’ changing job search needs.
Savage Search Associates is a boutique family-owned recruitment firm with her two children Jacob Savage & Kristina Savage and 40 independent recruiters when needed, that specializes in Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Senior Administrative searches in primarily the Western, Southwestern Region.
Lina is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and a long-time member of the Pinnacle Society, the nation’s premier consortium of top recruiters within the permanent placement and search industry. She has been afforded wonderful opportunities to speak at NAPS, CAPS, ASA, and many state associations, where she shares best recruiting, hiring, and retention practices.
In addition to her professional achievements, Lina is also an active member of her community and volunteers her time and hosts fundraisers for various causes. She and her team at Savage Search Associates is a mentor at Samueli Academy & Orangewood Foundation, where she hosts workshops on campus for students about life/career journeys, professional attire, workplace etiquette, organizational skills, financial literacy, communication skills, and more. Lina is also a community volunteer for Wounded Warrior, NHRA, Feed the Hungry, Youth Employment Services (YES), Working Wardrobes, Make-A-Wish, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
