  • Develop meaningful financial reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level insights that support business decisions.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, profitability analysis, and growth initiatives.
  • Strengthen accounting policies, internal controls, and financial compliance.
  • Oversee the general ledger, inventory accounting, fixed assets, payroll, and related accounting functions.
  • Monitor inventory performance, including aging, slow-moving inventory, and inventory metrics.
  • Support operational leadership by providing financial analysis related to purchasing, inventory, and branch performance.
  • Manage rebate reporting and financial tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and ERP system utilization.
  • Coordinate relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and insurance providers.
  • Recruit, mentor, develop, and lead an experienced accounting and finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Eight or more years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
  • Previous experience as a Controller, Corporate Controller, Director of Finance, or similar senior accounting leadership role.
  • Experience within distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or other inventory-intensive environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, operational finance, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated success improving financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiencies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • CPA or CMA is preferred.
  • Financial modeling and M&A experience are a plus.
  • Occasional travel to company locations may be required.

Why This Opportunity?

  • Join a financially strong, privately held organization with continued expansion plans.
  • Be part of a company that has more than doubled its revenue over the past seven years.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership and influence key business decisions.
  • Lead an experienced finance team while helping build scalable systems for future growth.
