About the Role

As the FP&A Manager, you’ll oversee corporate budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts while working closely with the VP of Finance. Your ability to transform data into actionable insights, support enterprise-wide initiatives, and drive process improvements will be critical in advancing the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models to analyze business performance.
  • Monitor key metrics and deliver insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Translate financial data into clear, strategic recommendations.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting cycles.
  • Analyze variances and provide clear explanations to department leads.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align department-level plans with company-wide goals.

Process Improvement & Financial Operations

  • Identify process enhancements and streamline financial workflows.
  • Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Utilize technology and automation tools to improve efficiency and transparency.

Business Partnership & Team Collaboration

  • Act as a strategic advisor to operational leaders across departments.
  • Provide cost management support and data for high-impact decisions.
  • Support, mentor, and help develop junior finance team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, or corporate finance
  • Experience with financial modeling and enterprise reporting tools
  • Industry experience in real estate, housing, or community development is a plus
  • Familiarity with Yardi and cash/treasury management is highly valued
  • ERP/BI systems experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar) a plus
